The winter months of 2026 were an exciting time at Event Caddy because we finally released our new payment processing system! Previously, Organizers needed to establish a payment gateway with a third party, then connect that gateway to Event Caddy. Now, within the Event Caddy application, Organizers can fill out some information about their charity/company, designate where they want the money they raise routed, etc., and we’ll take care of the rest. This approach should provide a much simpler, seamless experience for users. Early reviews are great; many of our Organizers are already loving the ease-of-use and the fact that now everything takes place within the same system.

That’s not all we were doing, however. We also introduced a brand new Event Caddy Marketplace, full of the merchandise and services you need to run and promote your golf tournament. Check it out here.

We made a number of improvements to our tournament website builder by upgrading the Photo Gallery functionality, the Sponsor Logo scroll, Auction links and QR codes, and the Website Editor itself.

At the behest of some of our Organizers, we changed how the Custom Fee functionality works, such that now it can be limited to transactions paid for with a credit card.

Finally we improved our Cloning process to make it faster and more reliable. If you’ve run a tournament with us before, setting up your new one will be that much easier!
