The easiest, headache-proof way to use a custom domain for your tournament site is to purchase it directly through Event Caddy by logging in to your admin dashboard and selecting WEBSITE EDITOR > Domain Name from the side navigation. From there simply follow the on screen instructions. The cost of the domain when purchased through Event Caddy is $30 USD/year.
Or, if you would rather purchase a domain name yourself, here are a couple of options:
Once you've purchased your domain name, you'll need to setup your domain to "see" your Event Caddy tournament site. This can usually be done from your domain settings.
Once you login to your account with your domain provider you'll want to do the following:
Add a CNAME record for the domain you want to forward
Host: www
Points to: app.eventcaddy.com

When you've got that done, scroll down to the Forwarding section and select the Add Forwarding button under Domain, enter your URL using this example:
