How to add custom questions to registration packages and view answers

Further customize your registration packages by collecting additional info from players

Whether you want to obtain handicap, shirt sizes, meal preferences, or just some basic information from your players, you can do so using our custom registration questions feature. Here's how you do it:

  1. To add a custom question select PLAYER MANAGER > Customer Questions from the side navigation of your admin dashboard.

  2. On the next screen, select the 'Add a Custom Question' button located in the top right.

  3. From here you can add your question. You can choose between three different question types:

    1. Text: allows players to enter free-form text (for example, listing any allergies or emergency contacts)

    2. Checkbox: allows players to select either 'yes' (by checking a box) or 'no' (by leaving the box empty)

    3. Select: allows players to select from a pre-set list of options (for example small, medium and large)

  4. You can also choose whether the registering player must answer the question if you select 'Is this a mandatory question?'

    • This feature is only applicable for Text and Select type questions.

  5. When you're done, select 'Save' to add your question.

  6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for each additional question you'd like to add to your registration packages.

  7. If you want to change the order your questions appear in, simply select the two horizontal bars in the leftmost column of the table and then drag and drop it to a new position in the table.

NOTE: At this time, any custom questions added will be asked on all registration packages available for your tournament.

Viewing the answers to Custom Questions:

The quickest way to view the players answers to your custom questions, is going to Player Manager -> All Players and selecting the 'Export to CSV' option at the top right to get a spreadsheet of the players and answers (along with other helpful information).


Otherwise, you can view the information for each individual player under Player Manager -> All Players and selecting the three dots under the Actions column to the far right, choose 'Details':

  • Will Custom Registration Questions be asked of players added through the Online Store sponsorships (& other items)?
    Yes, custom questions will get asked of all players, regardless of how they are added.
