Batch Allocation

How to allocate multiple Order Items at once and speed up the allocation process on large Orders.

Batch Allocation

Batch Allocation lets you allocate multiple Order Items at once, rather than going line by line. For Orders with a lot of equipment, it can save a significant amount of time.

How Does It Work?

When you run a Batch Allocation, the system automatically picks the first available serialized asset for each item. All items must be in Reserved status before you begin.

Step by Step

  1. Create an Order

  2. Add your products using Quick Pick or Add Order Item

  3. The Batch Allocate option will appear on the Order overview

  4. Select the Order Items you want to allocate using the tick boxes

  5. Confirm by clicking Accept Batch Allocation

Your selected items are now allocated and ready for the booking out and dispatch process.

When to Use Batch Allocation

Batch Allocation is ideal when you are happy for the system to pick available assets automatically. If you need to choose a specific serialized item for any line, use the standard Allocate option on that line instead.
