A new setting called Mandatory Works Order Creation has been added to Company Settings. When enabled, it changes how damaged or maintenance-due items are handled during booking-in.
How It Works
When Mandatory Works Order Creation is enabled:
Any item that is:
Marked as Damaged, or
Booked in from Maintenance Due
Will automatically create a Works Order.
These items skip the Unavailable Items stage entirely.
How to Enable
Go to System Setup
Go to Company Details.
Edit
Find the Mandatory Works Order Creation toggle.
Switch it to YES.
Save your changes.
