Carrying out the Checklists on Unavailable Items
From the unavailable item index page, when adding an item, you can can select which maintenance you are carrying out.
Selecting "yes" means that whilst resetting the maintenance period, you are also going to need to carry out the checklist at the same time.
On the unavailable item edit page, the red tick shows that a checklist will be needed and a green tick shows that the checklist has passed for that maintenance type before.
There are two ways to carry out the checklist process from unavailable items.
1: On the unavailable items index page - click the red pencil icon or the actions menu > checklist.
2: On the unavailable item overview page - click actions > checklist.
You can carry out more than one checklist here depending on the maintenance types being done.
Unless the overall results is "Passed" the checklist is marked as failed, is archived against the stock level, and must be carried out again until it's been passed. You can complete one of the checklists, come back later and complete the other.
Once all checklists have passed, the item can be booked out from unavailable items and made available again. All checklists are archived against the stock level.
Carrying out the Checklists from Works Orders
When carrying out a checklist or checklists on a works order, ensure the item has a valid maintenance type against it and it's selected when adding the works order item.
Then you'll see the checklist option on the actions menu and the red tick here.
The same rules apply as with unavailable items, you must first complete the checklists before the item can be booked out from the works order and made available again.
