How to Configure a Product as a Standard Sub-Rental
Navigate to Products.
Locate and open the product you want to configure.
Select Edit Product.
Find the Standard Sub-Rental option.
Enable the Standard Sub-Rental checkbox or toggle.
Save your changes.
The product is now configured to automatically default to a sub-rental whenever it is added to a rental order.
Using Standard Sub-Rental Products on Orders
Create a new rental order or open an existing one.
Add a product that has Standard Sub-Rental enabled.
The order line will automatically be marked as a sub-rental.
Continue processing the order as normal.
Changing the Sub-Rental Setting for an Individual Order
If you need to use your own stock instead of supplier equipment for a specific hire:
Open the rental order.
Locate the relevant product line.
Edit the order line.
Change the Sub-Rental setting as required.
Save the order.
This change only applies to the selected order line and does not affect the product's default configuration.
