Why is my account deactivated?

Learn the main reasons why your Pickem account may be deactivated, including violations of terms, security issues, or abusive behavior.

Updated over a week ago

Pickem reserves the right to deactivate any account at any time, at our sole discretion. Accounts are only deactivated in cases where rules, security, or community standards have been violated.

Here are the most common reasons:

  • Multi-accounting: Each person may only have one Pickem account. Creating multiple accounts may lead to suspension, forfeited winnings, and deactivation.

  • Chargebacks or payment disputes: If a deposit is reversed or charged back, your account may be permanently deactivated. Any winnings generated after the disputed transaction will be forfeited.

  • Violating Terms of Service: Attempting to bypass rules (for example, using a VPN to spoof location or playing on behalf of an underage player) will result in account closure.

  • Abusive behavior: We have zero tolerance for harassment, hate speech, excessive profanity, threats, or attempts to intimidate other players or staff.

  • Code of Conduct violations: Pickem is designed as a positive, fun, and competitive community. Behavior that damages the community experience may result in suspension or deactivation.

Note: Being part of Pickem is a privilege, not a right. By using our platform, you agree to follow our rules and community standards.

If you believe your account was deactivated in error, please contact Pickem Support for assistance.
