How to Request Revisions
You can always share feedback on your files with the expert via the Order chat.
If the expert uploads a file labeled as Final and it still needs improvements, simply click the Request revision button.
The exact process for requesting a revision depends on your orderâs current status. Each status reflects a different stage in the writing process and provides insight into the progress of your paper.
Here are the main statuses that your order can have:
In Progress:
This status indicates that the writer is actively working on your paper. It is displayed when no files have been uploaded or when a Draft file type is present.In Review:
This status indicates that the writer has submitted the Final or revised version of the paper, and the order is waiting for your approval.In Revision:
This status is assigned to the order when clicking the "Request Revision" button and indicates that the writer is currently working on the requested revisions.Completed:
This status indicates that youâve confirmed that the final paper provided by the writer meets your expectations, and the payment has been released to the writer.
â ď¸ Note on Extra Work
If you're requesting additional work that wasn't included in the original order, please discuss the scope and pricing with your expert first. Once you agree on the details, you can add extra funds to the contract accordingly.

How to Request Revisions Based on Order Status
In Progress or In Revision
In Progress and In Revision statuses mean you are actively working with the expert on the task, thus, to ask for any adjustments, just reach out to your writer in the Order chat and discuss the needed changes.
If there are issues preventing direct communication, reach out to the Support Team for assistance in connecting with your writer.
In Review:
Once the expert uploads the file labeled as Final, the order gets the "In review" status. If revisions are needed:
Click the Request revision button in the Approve delivery section of the Order page.
This button changes the order status from "In review" to "In revision," alerts the writer about the revision request, and prioritizes he task in the expertâs queue.Reach out to the expert through the Order chat to describe the requested changes and attach any necessary reference files.
This helps avoid misunderstandings, ensures your expectations are clear, and allows the writer to revise your paper accurately and efficiently.
Once the expert completes the revision, they upload the revised file, and the order status changes back to "In review," so the revision request can be repeated if necessary.
Completed
If your order is already marked as Completed but you need further adjustments, there's no need to worry â
Go to the Order Issues option.
Select Request a Revision.
This will automatically reopen the order and notify the writer that further adjustments are needed.Make sure to reach out to the expert through the Order Chat to clearly describe the requested changes and attach any necessary reference files.
This helps avoid misunderstandings, ensures your expectations are clear, and allows the writer to revise your paper accurately and efficiently.
â ď¸ Note! The Completed order can be Locked in 14 days after its completion.
To reopen the order with the Locked state for the revision, please contact the Support team, and they will help you with this task.
Canceled
If you've changed your mind and would like to reactivate your canceled order to give the writer a chance to revise it, please follow these steps:
Go to the Order Issues button and select the Undo Cancel option.
This will automatically move the order back to In Progress status.Once the order is in progress, proceed as usual using the Request Revision option. This will reopen the order and notify the writer that further adjustments are needed.
Make sure to reach out to the expert through the Order Chat to clearly describe the requested changes and attach any relevant reference files. This helps avoid misunderstandings, ensures your expectations are clear, and allows the writer to revise your paper accurately and efficiently.
â ď¸ Important Note:
When returning an order to In Progress, the full order price will be automatically transferred to the order escrowâjust as when placing a new order. Therefore, before reactivating the order, please check your account balance to ensure you have sufficient funds available. If needed, top up your balance to avoid account suspension due to a negative balance.
Note! The Canceled order can be Locked in 14 days after its cancelation.
To reopen the order with the Locked state for the revision, please contact the Support team, and they will help you with this task.
You may also contact our Support Team as an alternative method to request adjustments if you're unable to use the standard revision options. Provide your order number and any relevant details so they can assist you efficiently.
If your order was locked due to its completion or cancellation timeline, the support team can guide you on reactivating the order, including the possibility of unlocking the order for revision.
Revision Timeframes
Our Terms and Conditions define the revision periods for different order types:
Short documents (essays, research papers, reports, etc.):
Free revisions are available up to 2 weeks after the delivery date.Theses and dissertations:
Free revisions are available for up to 1 month.
If your revision period has passed, contact our Support Team to explore your options.
If you encounter any issues with the steps above, donât worry â contact our Support Team as well, and they will be here to help! Common issues may include locked orders, incomplete revisions, or difficulty accessing the revision tools.
Contacting the support team ensures these issues are resolved promptly.
Note: When the order is returned to "In Revision" status, it can be reactivated with a partial payment release ranging from 0% to 99%. Whether a portion of the order cost is released to the writer depends on the previous stage of the order and the amount that was already released.
But there's no need to worryâthis is not an additional charge you need to pay. The amount can be adjusted by our support team if any issues arise. Just let us know if you have any concerns at this stage.
Once you review the newly revised files and are satisfied with the results, simply complete the order again to finalize the payment.
