Part 5: Taking Your Selfie
ZipID asks you to take a selfie for two purposes:
• To give your employer a photo of the person completing the I-9, to compare to your ID and to you when you arrive on your first day.
• If your employer uses ZipID's facial recognition feature, your selfie is used to confirm your ID belongs to you — a 1:1 comparison between your selfie and the photo on your ID.

Step 1: Click "Take Photo" to capture your selfie. Make sure you are in a well-lit area and your face is clearly visible.
Step 2: Review the photo and retake it if needed.
