How Accentify billing works
Accentify subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date.
The exact day you’re charged depends on:
where you subscribed
which plan you chose
when your current billing period started
For example, if you subscribed to a monthly plan, you’ll usually be charged once every month on the same renewal cycle. If you subscribed to a yearly plan, you’ll usually be charged once per year.
You’re charged through the platform you subscribed with
If you subscribed through Apple, Apple handles your billing.
If you subscribed through Google Play, Google handles your billing.
If you subscribed through the Accentify website, your payment is handled through Stripe.
When your renewal happens
Your subscription usually renews automatically at the end of your current billing period.
That means:
weekly plans renew each week
monthly plans renew each month
yearly plans renew each year
If you cancel before the renewal date, you should not be charged again for the next period.
If you do cancel, you’ll usually keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
If you started with a trial or special offer
If your subscription started with a free trial, discount, or special offer, your paid billing will usually begin once that offer ends, unless you cancel before renewal.
The platform you subscribed through will show the next billing date and renewal details.
Where to check your next charge date
Apple (iOS)
Check your Apple subscriptions to see:
your active Accentify subscription

your cancellation status
Google Play (Android)
Check your Google Play subscriptions to see:
your active Accentify subscription
your next payment date

Web (Stripe)

If you’re not sure, email whatsup@accentify.co.uk and we’ll help you look into it.
If you changed plan recently
If you upgraded, downgraded, or switched billing options, your next charge date may change depending on how the platform handled the switch.
In most cases, Apple, Google Play, or Stripe will show the updated renewal date inside your subscription details.
If you think you were charged unexpectedly
First, check:
whether your subscription was still active
whether the charge came from Apple, Google Play, or Stripe
whether the charge was a renewal from an older plan
whether a trial or discount period had just ended
If everything looks wrong, contact the platform that billed you first.
If your payment was made through the Accentify website, email whatsup@accentify.co.uk and we’ll review it.
