Refunds for Accentify subscriptions and purchases
Refunds depend on where you subscribed.
If you bought Accentify through Apple, refund requests are handled by Apple. If you bought through Google Play, refund requests are handled through Google Play’s refund process, and Google also notes that contacting the developer can often be the quickest way to resolve some purchase issues.
While we'd love to be as giving as possible, our hands our tied to the policies of the app stores.
💡 Emailing us, leaving negative reviews and harassing us for refunds will not help. You have to go through the app store. Please be kind - we are a small team 🙏
First, check where you subscribed
Your subscription is usually managed by the same platform you used to start it:
Apple App Store
Google Play
Accentify website
If you’re not sure, check your receipt email first. Apple receipts are linked to your Apple Account, and Google Play purchases are tied to the Google account used to buy them.
If you subscribed through Apple
If your Accentify subscription was purchased through Apple, you’ll need to request a refund directly through Apple.
Apple says eligible App Store purchases and subscriptions can be refunded by signing in to Apple’s purchase problem site and choosing Request a refund. Apple also lets you check the status of a refund request there afterwards.
Apple(iOS) refund requests
To request a refund through Apple:
Sign in to Apple’s refund page
Choose Request a refund
Select the reason for your request
Submit it for review
Apple decides whether the purchase is eligible.
You can also try this:
If you subscribed through Google Play (Android)
If your Accentify subscription was purchased through Google Play, you can request a refund through Google Play.
Google’s refund flow lets you open your order history, choose the order, select Report a problem, and submit a refund request. Google also has a separate page for checking refund status.
Google Play refund requests
To request a refund through Google Play:
Open Google Play on the web
Go to Payments and subscriptions
Open Budget and order history
Find the Accentify order
Choose Report a problem
Submit your refund request
Google says refund availability can depend on how long it has been since the purchase.
You can also try this:
If you subscribed through the Accentify website (Stripe)
If you subscribed directly through the Accentify website, please contact us and we’ll review your request.

Will cancelling give me a refund?
Not usually on its own.
Cancelling a subscription usually stops the next renewal. Refunds are a separate process and, for Apple and Google Play purchases, need to be requested through the platform that billed you.
How long do refunds take?
If a refund is approved, timing depends on the platform and payment method.
Google says approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method, and the exact timing depends on how you paid. Apple also provides a way to check the status of refund requests after submission.
What if I can’t find the charge?
If you can’t find the purchase, first check whether you used a different Apple Account or Google account.
Apple recommends checking your receipt email to see which Apple Account was used, and Google notes that purchase and refund issues are often linked to the account that made the purchase.
