Connect your DSCO account to Acenda so your DSCO retailer orders flow into Acenda, and your inventory, shipments and cancellations flow back to DSCO. DSCO is now part of Rithum, so you'll see the Rithum name and logo in DSCO and in Acenda.
Setup has three parts: create API credentials in DSCO, add them to Acenda, then turn on the data you want to sync. For an overview of how sales channels work in Acenda, see How to connect a sales channel to Acenda.
Before you start: You need admin access to your DSCO account, and DSCO must be available on your Acenda account. If DSCO doesn't appear when you add a new sales channel, contact Acenda Support to have it added.
Step 1: Create API credentials in DSCO
Acenda connects to DSCO with a Client ID and a Client Secret. These are DSCO's standard API credentials.
Log in to your DSCO account.
Select your trading partner: If DSCO asks you to choose a partner, pick the retailer you're connecting to Acenda.
Open the API page: In the sidebar, go to Automation & Reporting > Automation > API.
Click Create Credentials in the top right of the Manage API Credentials page.
Choose the credential type: Pick the option that gives you a Client ID and Client Secret. Don't choose Permanent Access Token: Acenda no longer accepts it.
Give the credentials a name you'll recognize, such as "Acenda".
Copy both values: Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and keep them somewhere safe until you finish Step 2. DSCO may not show the secret again after you close the window.
Tip: Treat your Client Secret like a password. Store it in a password manager, and never paste it into email, chat or a support ticket. If it's ever exposed, delete it in DSCO, create new credentials, and update them in Acenda (Step 2).
Step 2: Add DSCO in Acenda
Click CHANNELS > Integrations in the sidebar.
Click New in the Sales Channels section.
Select DSCO, or the tile for your retailer if you see one (for example Chewy, Anthropologie or Nordstrom), then click Add.
Click Edit on the new DSCO channel.
Open the Settings tab.
Open the Authorization section.
Paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the matching fields. If you also see a Bearer Token field, leave it blank, because Acenda doesn't use it.
Open the General section and turn on the Enabled switch.
Map the Acenda warehouses that should supply this channel under Warehouse Details.
Click Save.
Using DSCO's test environment? Turn on Is Sandbox? in the Configuration section, and use credentials created in DSCO's staging site. Leave it off for your live account.
Step 3: Choose what to sync
On the Settings tab, open the Configuration section. Most switches start off, so nothing is sent to DSCO until you turn it on.
Push Catalog: Sends your product data to DSCO.
Push Inventory: Sends your available stock to DSCO. Inventory Floor holds back that many units of each item, as a buffer against overselling (see How to set an inventory floor for a marketplace).
ACK: Acknowledges new orders in DSCO after Acenda imports them.
Push Cancellations: Sends order cancellations to DSCO. You must also fill in Cancel Code with the cancel reason code DSCO should receive, or cancellations won't be sent.
Price Field: Choose which DSCO price your prices are sent as: Expectedcost (your cost to the retailer) or Consumerprice.
Push Item Retirements: Marks items as discontinued in DSCO when you stop selling them.
Important: If Push Catalog or Push Inventory is off, Acenda skips that sync without showing an error. If items aren't appearing or stock isn't updating in DSCO, check these switches first, then work through the Troubleshooting: Item missing from a marketplace with no error.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Red "Connection Unhealthy" icon next to the channel: Acenda couldn't connect to DSCO. Check the Client ID and Client Secret under Settings > Authorization.
Credentials copied incompletely: Copy each value again from DSCO, using its copy icon if there is one. Check for missing characters or extra spaces at the start or end, then click Save.
Credentials deleted or regenerated in DSCO: The old values stop working right away. Create new credentials in DSCO (Step 1), paste both new values into Acenda (Step 2), and click Save.
You set up the connection with a Permanent Access Token: Acenda now needs a Client ID and Client Secret. Create them in DSCO and add them to Acenda as described above.
Orders from the wrong retailer, or no orders at all: Make sure the credentials were created for the right trading partner in DSCO, and that you added the matching DSCO channel in Acenda. If you sell to several retailers through DSCO, contact Acenda Support to confirm your setup.
Cancellations not reaching DSCO: Check that Push Cancellations is on and Cancel Code is filled in. If the code is blank, Acenda shows a notification saying "Cancel Code is not set" and no cancellations are sent.
Items not listing: Make sure Push Catalog and Push Inventory are on and your warehouses are mapped. Then check CHANNELS > Item Issues for errors; see How to fix marketplace listing errors.
