Error Message
DATA_VALIDATION: If a variation child has a Variation Theme of 'size', then variation size must contain a value and variation color must NOT contain a value.
What Causes This Error?
Target+ requires strict alignment between your item’s Variation Theme and the attributes populated on your child variants.
When your item's Variation Theme is set to Size, Target+ expects the variants to vary only by size. If a color value (such as Red, Blue, or Black) is present in the color attribute field on any child variant is missing; Target+ will reject the listing.
How to Fix It
To resolve this validation error, remove all values from the color attribute field across all variants associated with the item.
Locate the Item: Open the affected item in your Acenda catalog manager.
Select Child Variants: Access the variant list under the parent item.
Clear the Color Attribute:
Navigate to the Color field for each variant.
Highlight and delete the text (e.g., remove
Red).Leave the Color field completely blank.
Verify the Size Attribute: Ensure the Size field contains a valid value (e.g.,
Small,Medium,Large).Save & Resync: Save your changes and re-trigger the sync to Target+.

Need to Include Color?
If your item actually comes in different colors and sizes, change your Variation Theme from Size to SizeColor (or Size-Color). Once the theme is updated to support both attributes, you can safely populate both the size and color fields.
