Missed Final Test or Score Distribution Deadline

What to do if you've missed a last test or program deadline

Updated over a week ago

All test dates and distribution deadlines are pre-arranged with academic programs. You can browse the test dates and distribution deadlines for individual programs on our Dates and Fees page.

If you’ve missed the final testing opportunity or a distribution deadline for a program, please follow the instructions below, based on the country the program in question is located. Due to extenuating circumstances, applicants may occasionally be permitted to complete a Casper test beyond the final testing opportunity (if test dates are available), but this is not guaranteed and is up to the programs’ discretion.

Please note that in all cases, programs will need to contact their Acuity Insights representative directly to make arrangements for any exceptions beyond the pre-existing deadlines. We are unable to accept approvals via applicant emails.

If you’ve missed a deadline for a Canadian program:

Please contact the Acuity Insights Team through the chat bubble on the AcuityInsights.app website (or by emailing support@acuityinsights.app) and provide the following:

  1. The test date you missed, the program(s) affected, and your reasoning for missing this test

  2. Any documentation that supports this reason (e.g. doctor's note, death certificate, etc.)

Once we receive the above information, we will reach out to the program(s) on your behalf to evaluate your options and provide you with an update once available.

If you’ve missed a deadline for a program outside of Canada (ex: an American, Australian, or European program):

Please contact the program(s) directly to discuss your options going forward. As mentioned, these programs will need to contact their Acuity Insights representative directly so that arrangements for any exceptions can be processed.

Please note that exceptions are up to the discretion of the program and are typically only granted for extenuating circumstances.
