If you missed the last chance to take your Casper test or to distribute your results to a program, there may still be options depending on the situation and location of the program.
Why Deadlines are important
All Casper test dates and score distribution deadlines are set in advance by each academic program. You can always view deadlines for each program on our Dates and Fees page.
Missed a Deadline? Your Next Steps Depend on the Program Location:
🇨🇦 If the Program is in Canada:
Contact Acuity Insights Support through the chat bubble on AcuityInsights.app or email support@acuityinsights.app.
Provide the following information:
The test date you missed
The program(s) affected
Your reason for missing the test
Any supporting documents (e.g., doctor’s note, death certificate)
Once we receive this, we’ll contact the program(s) on your behalf to evaluate your options. We’ll update you as soon as we hear back.
Important: In all cases, programs must contact their Acuity Insights representative directly to approve any exceptions beyond the pre-existing deadlines. Emails sent to applicants alone are not sufficient; formal confirmation to Acuity Insights is required before any actions can be taken.
🌍 If the Program is Outside of Canada (e.g., U.S., Australia, Europe):
You must contact the program directly to ask about your options.
If the program is open to making an exception, they will need to contact their Acuity Insights representative directly so that arrangements for any exceptions can be processed.
Upon confirmation, Acuity Insights will update the applicant's distribution list to include the approved program, and results will be distributed manually within 24 hours. Distribution fees may apply.
Please note: Exceptions are not guaranteed and are usually only granted in extenuating circumstances (like medical or family emergencies).
