What is an admissions cycle?

How can I be sure that I am registering to the correct admissions cycle?

Updated over 2 months ago

The general rule is that a test taken during one admissions cycle is for entrance into the following academic year. For example, US and Canadian applicants who complete their Acuity Insights Assessments for the 2024-2025 admissions cycle are generally applying for admission to programs that begin in the Fall of 2025. However, this may vary for Australian courses, or programs with multiple start dates or mid-year intakes.

Our Dates and Fees page is a great resource to confirm details about test dates, distribution deadlines, and different admission windows. We strongly recommend that you also reference the individual programs’ websites to ensure that you are reserving your Casper test for the correct cycle. Please note that applicants cannot reserve a test for an admissions cycle beyond those currently available.

Applicants are encouraged to only reserve their test when they are certain that they are reserving the correct test type, and for the correct admissions cycle. We are unable to issue refunds for tests reserved for an incorrect admissions cycle. This is outlined in point 9 of our Terms of Use.
