To take the Casper test, you must use a computer with a working webcam and microphone. These are not optional—they are required to:

  • Monitor your test session (remote proctoring)

  • Allow you to record video responses in the first section of the test

Your webcam must remain:

  • Uncovered

  • Facing directly toward you for the entire test duration

Your microphone should be:

  • Adjusted for clear sound

  • Used with a moderate device volume

  • Ensuring you speak clearly during the video response section

The Acuity Insights team may remotely observe your test session at any time to make sure you follow the terms of use.

Technical Requirements:

Before you register or begin the test, make sure your computer has:

  • A functioning webcam and microphone

  • A stable, high-speed internet connection

  • A bandwidth of at least 2 megabytes per second (MB/s)
