With AdUp’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) system, you can connect your WooCommerce store to unlock real-time tracking, behavior insights, and seamless optimization features — all in one platform. By integrating WooCommerce, AdUp helps you track and optimize user flows across checkout, product views, and more.
This guide walks you through how to set up your WooCommerce integration with AdUp in just a few clicks.
Step 1: Access the MCP Integration Dashboard
Log in to your AdUp Dashboard.
Navigate to:
Data Integration (MCP) > Explore MCP Servers
You’ll see a card labeled:
🟢 WooCommerce: Click to manage connection
Step 2: Connect WooCommerce
Click the WooCommerce card to open a setup popup.
You’ll see three required fields:
1.WordPress Site URL
Enter the full URL of your WooCommerce store (e.g., https://yourstore.com)
2.WooCommerce Consumer Key
3.WooCommerce Consumer Secret
These are API credentials that allow AdUp to securely access your WooCommerce data.
🛠️ How to Get Your WooCommerce API Keys
Follow these steps to generate both the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret from your WordPress dashboard:
Log in to your WordPress Admin Panel
In the sidebar, go to: WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API
Click the “Add Key” button
Fill in the API details:
Description: Name it something like AdUp MCP Integration
User: Choose your Admin account
Permissions: Select Read/Write
Click Generate API Key
Once done, WooCommerce will show you:
✅ Consumer Key
✅ Consumer Secret
⚠️ Important:
These keys are only shown once — copy and paste them into a safe place immediately!
Step 3: Activate the Connection
Go back to the AdUp popup and:
Paste the WordPress Site URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret
Toggle the Status switch to ON
Click Update MCP
Step 4: You're Connected!
Once the connection is active, WooCommerce will display:
🟢 Connected: Click to manage connection
You can now:
🔄 Update the API credentials
🚦 Enable or disable the integration anytime
🗑️ Delete the connection if needed

Make sure the keys have Read/Write permissions
Your site must be accessible and use HTTPS
If keys aren’t working, regenerate them or check WooCommerce REST API settings
