With AdUp’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) system, you can connect your WooCommerce store to unlock real-time tracking, behavior insights, and seamless optimization features — all in one platform. By integrating WooCommerce, AdUp helps you track and optimize user flows across checkout, product views, and more.

This guide walks you through how to set up your WooCommerce integration with AdUp in just a few clicks.

Step 1: Access the MCP Integration Dashboard

Log in to your AdUp Dashboard.

Navigate to:

Data Integration (MCP) > Explore MCP Servers

You’ll see a card labeled:

🟢 WooCommerce: Click to manage connection

Step 2: Connect WooCommerce

Click the WooCommerce card to open a setup popup.

You’ll see three required fields:

1.WordPress Site URL

Enter the full URL of your WooCommerce store (e.g., https://yourstore.com)

2.WooCommerce Consumer Key

3.WooCommerce Consumer Secret

These are API credentials that allow AdUp to securely access your WooCommerce data.

🛠️ How to Get Your WooCommerce API Keys

Follow these steps to generate both the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret from your WordPress dashboard:

Log in to your WordPress Admin Panel
In the sidebar, go to: WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API
Click the “Add Key” button
Fill in the API details:
Description: Name it something like AdUp MCP Integration
User: Choose your Admin account
Permissions: Select Read/Write
Click Generate API Key

Once done, WooCommerce will show you:
✅ Consumer Key
✅ Consumer Secret
⚠️ Important:

These keys are only shown once — copy and paste them into a safe place immediately!

Step 3: Activate the Connection

Go back to the AdUp popup and:

  • Paste the WordPress Site URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret

  • Toggle the Status switch to ON

  • Click Update MCP

Step 4: You're Connected!

Once the connection is active, WooCommerce will display:

🟢 Connected: Click to manage connection

You can now:

  • 🔄 Update the API credentials

  • 🚦 Enable or disable the integration anytime

  • 🗑️ Delete the connection if needed

🧠 Tips & Reminders

  • Make sure the keys have Read/Write permissions

  • Your site must be accessible and use HTTPS

  • If keys aren’t working, regenerate them or check WooCommerce REST API settings
