With AdUp’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) system, you can seamlessly connect your HubSpot CRM and marketing platform to unlock full-funnel visibility, automate insights, and supercharge performance tracking. This guide shows you how to quickly integrate HubSpot with your AdUp dashboard for smarter analytics and AI-driven optimization.

Step 1: Access the MCP Integration Dashboard

Log in to your AdUp Dashboard.

Navigate to:

Data Integration (MCP) > Explore MCP Servers

Click on:

🟢 HubSpot: Click to manage connection

Step 2: Connect HubSpot

When you click the HubSpot card, a popup will appear titled:

“Manage HubSpot MCP Connection”

You’ll see a single required field:

🔐 HubSpot Access Token

Paste your token here, toggle the Status switch ON, and click Update MCP

🛠️ How to Get Your HubSpot Access Token

Here’s how to generate your Private App Access Token in HubSpot:

  1. Log in to your HubSpot account

  2. In the top-right menu, click the Settings ⚙️ icon

  3. On the left sidebar, navigate to:
    Integrations > Private Apps

  4. Click “Create a private app”

  5. Enter an App Name (e.g., AdUp MCP Integration) and optional description

  6. Under Scopes/Permissions, grant:

    • CRM (contacts, deals)

    • Analytics (if needed)

    • Any other data you want AdUp to access

  7. Click Create App

  8. Copy the generated Access Token shown on-screen

⚠️ Important: Tokens are only shown once. Copy and store it safely — and treat it like a password.

Step 3: Finalize the Connection

Return to the AdUp popup:

  • Paste your HubSpot Access Token

  • Toggle the Status switch ON

  • Click Update MCP

Your HubSpot integration is now live!

Step 4: Manage the Connection

Once connected, the HubSpot card in the dashboard will show:

🟢 Connected: Click to manage connection

You can now:

  • 🔄 Update the token

  • 🗑️ Delete the connection

  • 🚦 Enable/Disable the connection anytime

🧠 Tips & Reminders

  • Ensure you enable the right scopes in the private app for full access

  • Treat the token as sensitive info — don’t share it publicly

  • You can regenerate tokens or manage access from your HubSpot settings anytime
