Utilizing the Preview Availability feature

Use the Preview Availability Feature to see how different factors are affecting your ADPList availability.

Preview Availability will allow you to see which days and time slots you'll be marked as bookable and available on ADPList based on

  • your availability set

  • any blockout dates

  • any events on your calendar

  • other restrictions like booking windows

It's a powerful feature that will enable you to spot issues that may be affecting your mentorship availability on your profile.

To access or view the Preview Availability feature of your session, all you need to do is go to session settings. This can be accessed by

  • going to the Calendar page

  • clicking on the gear icon on the upper-right hand side of the session card:

This will open a small menu. Click on Edit session

Your session settings will then open and you'll be able to see Preview Availability on the right-hand side of the screen.

For example, Preview Availability shows unavailable on May 3, 2024, 3:00 PM as there is an event on the calendar blocking availability.

Alternatively, it will also state if the reason for unavailability is that you're not able to set it as an available time. This helps clear a lot of the confusion our mentors have when they set their Global Availability but did not copy it to their Session Availability.

Blockout dates are also shown as not available (lighter color) and will shown as the reason if you clicked on the date with a blockout date:
