This article will talk you through how to add a new ICD code to your ANS if the relevant code is not available currently for your treatments.
ICD codes are a set of designations used by healthcare staff to communicate diseases, symptoms, abnormal findings and other elements of patients diagnosis in a way that is universally accepted by those in medical and insurance fields. They can be used in the aesthetics industry to help distinguish whether a treatment is for medical or cosmetic reasons and keep consistent documentation.
To learn how to add a new ICD code to your Aesthetic Nurse Software, follow our simple steps below.
Step 1 :
From the main menu, head into settings.
Step 2 :
From the settings, you will just need to heed into the ICD codes section under the heading compliance.
Step 3 :
In this section, you will find the list of ICD codes already stored within the software. But to add a new code. Select to add a new code.
Step 4 :
You will then be able to add the new code into the software which will then appear in the list for documentation.
