This article will talk you through how to set up your practitioner availability when you work a mixture of regular hours and also random days.
There are two areas of the practitioner availablity you will need to set up for these working hours.
To learn how to set up your mixed booking availablity for your online boking page,follow our simple steps.
Step 1 :
From the main menu, head to the settings section.
Step 2 :
Then once in settings, head to practitioner availability under the heading online booking.
Step 3 :
Once in this section you will be shown a 2 week rota, this will be where you enter your regular working hours.
When entering the practitioner availability section if the screen is blank you may need to update your practitioner settings. Head to oue guide on this section to help get set up.
Step 4 :
To start you will need to add your hours which you will be working regularly into the two week rota. You will also need to select the clinic for these working hours.
Step 5 :
Any days which you are not working will need to be marked as not available via the tick box.
Step 6 :
Once you have completed week 1, you will just need to repeat the process for the week 2 section. Then once happy with your regular hours, select update availability.
The times for each day you have enter will now continue to show week in week out for the foreseeable as these are set as regular hours
Then, you will need to set up the hours which you work not on a weekly basis, this would be if you wanted to work a Saturday but you do not work this usually.
Step 7 :
Still in the practitioner availability section, to add these specific days, you will need to head into our exceptions tab.
Step 8 :
In the exceptions area, you will then need to add the specific dates and time you want to work outside of your normal hours. You will need to start by clicking the add button.
Step 9 :
Once add has been selected, you will need to tick that you are available for this exception.
Step 10 :
Then you will need to choose the time frame you are available for from the list provided.
Step 11 :
You will then be able to select the date for the clinic availability.
Step 12 :
Then you can choose to work whole day (9am-5pm) or part of day.
Step 13 :
If part of day is selected, then you will be able to add your specific working hours. After you will need to select the clinic the availability is for.
If you wish to add multiple exceptions, you will need to select the 'Add' button each time and repeat the process above.
Step 14 :
Once happy with your exceptions, hit update exceptions.
This will then add the specific dates to your regular hour dates to allow patients to book via the online booking platform.
