AI Frame's Virtual Try-On & Size Chart works across clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, but a few simple choices make try-on results look their best.
Products that shine with Try-On
Clothing: tops, bottoms, dresses, jackets, knitwear. The clearer the garment shape, the better.
Shoes: especially with clean, front-facing product shots.
Bags & accessories: jewellery (necklace, rings, bracelet), sunglasses, hats, caps, socks.
Hide the Try On pill on types that shouldn't try on (gift cards, homeware) under Exclude product types — that list comes from your Shopify catalog. Size Chart and Sizing assist still show on assigned products.
Getting the best results
The single biggest factor is the product image try-on uses. By default that's the first product image. If that shot is a model in a full outfit, several items, or an angled shot, pick a better one on Virtual Try-On → Try-on reference photo. AI Frame can also suggest a stronger image from the gallery.
Aim for:
Clean background: flat lays or ghost-mannequin shots transform beautifully.
Front-facing, full view of the item.
Good lighting, true-to-life colour.
Avoid heavily stylised editorial shots at odd angles.

A note on realism: try-on is a realistic preview — a confidence-builder, not a tailor's measurement. That's why Size Chart sits next to the Size option and Estimate my size sits above Add to cart, independently of try-on: look answers “will it suit me?”, sizing answers “will it fit me?”.
