Online Campaigns

With Online Campaigns, you can create (temporary) discounts directly in Aimy that are visible in the online booking module.

With Online Campaigns, you can set up temporary discounts directly from Aimy that are visible in the online booking module. For example, a summer campaign offering 15% off all color treatments, or a discount on a specific treatment for a limited period. The discount is automatically displayed in the booking module and automatically applied at checkout when a customer books within the campaign period.

Where can I set up Online Campaigns?

You can create and manage campaigns by navigating to Marketing in the menu and selecting the Online Campaigns tab.

How do I create a new campaign?

Click “+ New campaign” in the top-right corner and complete the following fields:

Field

Description

Campaign title

This is not used in customer communication and is only for your own reference.

Start date

The date must be today or in the future. There cannot be a second campaign active during the same period.

End date

The date must be after the start date and cannot be in the past.

Summary message

This is the name of the campaign displayed in the summary/checkout of the booking module.

Discount percentage(s)

A maximum of 3 different percentages can be used per campaign.

Services/categories

At least one service or category must be linked to each discount percentage.

Salon selection

Select the salons where the campaign should be activated.

Linking discounts to services or categories

For each discount percentage, you can link one or more services, combination services, or an entire category. If you select an entire category, all services within that category are automatically included.

Please note:

  • A service or category that has already been linked to one discount percentage cannot be linked to another percentage within the same campaign.

  • If new services are added (through the chain or company) to a category that is already part of an ongoing campaign, they will automatically be included in the campaign.

What does the customer see in the online booking module?

When selecting a service that is part of an active campaign, a discount label is displayed (for example, “15% discount”). If the discount applies to an entire category, the label is displayed for all services within that category.

If a deposit applies, the discount label will be displayed together with the deposit notification.

If you end an active campaign, the discount labels immediately disappear from the online booking module.

What happens at checkout during an online campaign?

If an appointment is booked for a service that is part of an online campaign, the discount is automatically applied at checkout (and, where applicable, also included in the deposit), provided that the appointment date itself falls within the campaign period.

  • Example: The campaign runs from June 1 through June 30. A customer books an appointment for June 15 → the discount is automatically applied. If the customer books an appointment for August 15 → the discount is not automatically applied, even if the campaign was active at the time of booking.

The discount is not automatically applied to appointments scheduled directly by the salon itself (i.e. not through the booking module). If you still want to give these customers the discount, add it manually. Please note: Campaign discounts are not automatically created as a separate discount rule at checkout. If you want to use a fixed discount rule, create a separate discount rule in the checkout.

Please note: If you end an active campaign, the discount will remain applied to appointments that have already been booked. Salons can remove this discount themselves if they determine that the customer should not receive it.

What happens if I have multiple types of discounts active?

When multiple types of discounts are active, only one discount will apply. The priority order is: Subscriptions - Online campaigns - Promo codes.
