Looking to handle test cases at scale? The Bulk Test Case Generation feature in AI Test Case Generator for Azure DevOps helps you generate test cases for multiple user stories in one go — seamlessly and efficiently.

Here’s how to use it:

  1. Access the Feature: Navigate to the Queries page from the sidebar and click the ‘New Query’ button.

  2. Select User Stories: Choose a value for the ‘Work Item Type’ (e.g. User Story, Issue) and click ‘Run query’. Then, highlight the user stories you want to include using Ctrl + click or Shift + click, and right-click your selection.

  3. Generate Test Cases: Click ‘Generate Test Case’, then click ‘Start’ to begin generation.

  4. View Results: Once generation is complete, navigate to the Boards page and open each user story to see the newly generated test cases, all automatically linked and ready to use.

Tip: Uncheck “Skip items with existing test cases” if you’d like to regenerate test cases for user stories that already have linked test cases.
