Absences calendar view

Absences Calendar, Leave Calendar

Updated over 10 months ago

The calendar view gives you an overview of your absences. In a calendar view, vertical lines represent a person’s row. It means that it will show the absences of the staff whereas, the horizontal row is for dates.

Every absence will show on its respective date. Different absence types have different colours. These colours are assigned by the admins, which makes it easier to identify the absence type.

Absences with full colour represent approved absences, and absences with bordered boxes represent pending requests.

Absences require approval when staff creates an absence. The calendar will show an absence box with a dotted border. When an admin creates an absence, it is automatically approved, and it will show in full colour.

You can search for staff by name, age, position, department, region, certificates, or gender. The refresh button will refresh the calendar. You can also sort the staff list by first name, middle name, last name, age, and gender. You can also filter the calendar based on the date range and timeline.

Click on the date to open a date calendar and select a date range. You can select whether you want to see the calendar for one day, for the whole week, or for the whole month.

The calendar will show data based on the combination of the date you have selected and the timeline. Clicking on today will show data only for the current date.

Hover over an absence and tick the checkbox once checked, a selected button will appear. Clicking on the button will show you the actions you can perform on the selected absence.
