Akada Online gives parents an account that they are able to access and manage their own contact information, update their credit card, view their child's class schedule, as well as request classes for upcoming years or sessions.

Each studio will want to add the link to the parent login page to their studio website. This will give the parents a place to come back and log in any time they'd like to access their account. The link can be found on the general settings page under customer access settings.

Creating or Activating an Account:

New Account Link - The create account link located under Create Or Activate Your Account is for customers who have not danced with the studio before and have no information on file. They will click this link and be prompted to enter their name, email, and password of their choosing. After clicking Create Account they will be directed to the studio's policies page. Once they have agreed to the policies they will then be able to enter any contact, billing, and student information that is required by the studio. Once all required information has been entered they will then be able to request classes.

Activating an Existing Account - Parents who have been with the studio before can simply activate their existing account. To activate the account click on the existing account link (the second option) and a window will appear. Enter the email address that is on file with the studio and click Activate My Account.* The parent will then be sent an email with a link to activate their account.

Once the parent receives the email they will click the link in it and enter a password of their choosing. Then re-enter the password to verify it. The parent will then be directed to the studio policies page. Once they have agreed to the policies they will be logged into their account where they can perform any of the functions outlined above.

Classes - This link gives parents or prospective customers the ability to view classes that are available for registration without having to log in or create an account.

Contact - This will guide parents to your studio's Contact Us page for basic studio information.

Staff - This will allow parents to view your Staff Profile pages.

*To activate an existing account the parent must have an email address on file with the studio. If a parent has an account with your studio and receives the message "email address not found" then they need to contact your studio and verify the email address on file.

Active Parent Accounts:

Logging In - Once the parent account has been activated the parent will be able to log in anytime by entering their email address and password in the appropriate fields.

Forgot Password - If a parent has forgotten their password they simply click this link and enter their email address. A password reset will then be emailed to them.
