.Can I customize my own program?
Alive has a team of trainers who work hard to build evidence based fitness programs that will help you progress towards your goals and build healthy exercise habits. A major part of the building process is to make sure that the program progresses at an appropriate rate by increasing the demand on muscles by increasing the amount of sets or reps, adding a superset exercise, or doing a more complex version of a similar movement later in the program. This is known as progressive overload. While it is always important to listen to your body and adjust your program however you need, we encourage you to follow Alive programs as closely as you can to help maximize progress along your fitness journey.
