Broadcast in All Gravy

The Broadcast feature in All Gravy is designed to make communication easy, fast, and visible to the right people.

It lets admins and managers send out messages, share events, links, Feed posts or or articles across the company directly through the Feed — like an internal bulletin board for updates, reminders, or news.

This can only be viewed on the app, when you log in

How It Works

  1. Create a Broadcast:
    Go to your Feed on the web version and toggle to 'Broadcast'

  2. Click on 'Add new Item'


  3. You will get the option to 'Add New Broadcast Item'

  4. Click on the drop down to choose if you want to add an article. event, link or Feed post

  5. Choose Audience

    • Toggle on the 'target to a specific audience' button

    • You can choose All Roles or Specific roles (e.g., Managers, Editors, Employees)

    • You can choose All locations or Specific locations (e.g., individual stores or departments)

    • You can also manually include and exclude people not belong to a specific role or Location

  6. Notifications:
    When a broadcast is posted, it is shown at the top of the page when everyone logs in the app, so it is impossible to miss

Common Uses

  • Company announcements (e.g., “We’re launching a new policy next week!”)

  • Store or department updates

  • Link to external information

  • Feed posts that need to be seen by everyone

  • Articles

  • Share weekly newsletter

  • Weekly updates and meeting minutes.

  • Event invitations

Who Can Post

Only Admins, Editors & Managers have permission to create broadcasts.
Employees can read and react, but not post broadcasts themselves.
