You cannot change your own name in the All Gravy app. There is no name field on your profile. An admin at your workplace changes it for you. ✏️
If you want your name changed
Ask your manager or whoever administers All Gravy where you work. Tell them:
the name currently showing on your profile
the name you want instead, spelled exactly as you want it to appear
The change shows up everywhere your name appears, including chat, the feed and your training records. Your history stays with you.
If you are the admin making the change
Open People in the web admin.
Find the employee and open their record.
Edit the first and last name fields, then save.
One thing to watch. If your workplace syncs staff from a rota or scheduling system, that system may be the source of names. In that case, change the name there as well, or the next sync can overwrite what you just set.
What this does not change
Your email address is separate. Changing your name does not change the address you sign in with. If your email also needs correcting, ask your admin to update that too, and see our article on re-inviting an employee after changing their email address.
