Check-in notifications keep you and your manager on track before, during and after each check-in.
If you're the employee
It's time for your check-in: a scheduled check-in has opened. It shows the check-in type and due date.
[Manager] started a check-in with you: your manager started one outside the usual schedule.
[n] days left for your check-in: you haven't shared your prep and the check-in is due in 2 days.
Your check-in is overdue: your prep is still missing a day after the due date. You can still fill it in.
Your check-in is complete: your manager has written the summary and next steps.
A note was added to your profile: your manager added a note you can see. Private notes don't send a notification.
If you're the manager
[Name]'s check-in is open: a scheduled check-in with someone on your team has opened.
[n] days left for [name]'s check-in: your own prep is still outstanding, 2 days before the due date.
[Name]'s check-in is overdue: your prep is still missing a day after the due date.
Time to talk with [name]: you've both shared your prep. Hold the conversation, then write the summary.
When several check-ins of the same type fall due on the same day, you get one notification for all of them, for example 5 check-ins for your team are open. If only one is due, you get the named notification.
Each reminder is sent once.
