Learn how to manage and filter your student leads effectively within the Ally CRM.

Updated over 3 months ago

STEP 1 - Access

Go to CRM > Students.

STEP 2 - Select the Tab

Depending on your user access level, you’ll have access to one, two, or all three tabs:

  • My Students

  • Students from This Office

  • All Students

Select the tab you wish to work with.

STEP 3 - Search Filters

Once you’ve selected a tab, use the Search Filters to find groups of students with similar characteristics or a specific student.

Click on "+ More Filters" to access additional filtering options. You can combine filters to narrow down the results and achieve your desired selection.

STEP 4 - Sorting Results

Below the filters, you’ll find the option to sort the results. Select the criteria you want to use for sorting and choose whether the order will be ascending or descending.

STEP 5 - Individual Actions with Students

Each student profile displays:

  • Basic Information: Includes their registration details, pending tasks, sold quotes, and internal agency notes.

  • Buttons for Actions:

    • View: Access the student's profile.

    • Edit: Update the student’s information.

    • Delete: Remove the student from the database.

STEP 6 - Bulk Actions

You can also perform actions in bulk for multiple students.

  • Next to the View button, there’s a checkbox that allows you to select multiple students at once.

  • Use the "Select All" button if you want to select all students in the list.

Once the students are selected, click the Actions button (represented by a gear icon) to view the available options:

Bulk Action Options:

  1. Change Status: Move the selected students to a different status in the pipeline.

  2. Update Perception: Change their perception status to cold, warm, or hot.

  3. Change Responsible User: Reassign the selected leads to another user.

  4. Archive Leads: Keep these leads in your database but make them hidden. To view them again, use the "Archived Students Only" filter in the search options.

  5. Delete Leads: Permanently remove the selected leads from your database.
