All photos you upload are automatically selected for animation. If there’s an image you don’t want in the video, simply delete it from the editor. Deleted images are still stored under Manage images.
1. Choose an animation style
Each image can have its own animation style. By default, Push in is selected but you can change this per image at any time.
Available quick animations styles (camera movements):
Push in – slow zoom into the image
Rotate – gentle pan left or right
Truck left / right – smooth side-to-side movement
Pull out - drifts backward, revealing more of the space
Static shot - frame stays perfectly still, but magic happens
Pedestal Up / Down - smooth and balanced vertical motion
Drone shot - view lifts upward as if rising on a drone
Your choice is applied automatically - no need to click “apply” or “save.”
NEW: More quick animations added ✨
In addition to camera movements, you can now bring your images to life with special animations and edits.
These options let you add subtle motion, change the mood, or create more dynamic clips in just few clicks :
Ambients
Put fire in a fireplace
Make ceiling fans spinning
Declutter images
Other subtle ambient movements
These are designed to enhance the scene without changing the structure of the image.
Image edits
Change how your image looks by setting a different time of day.
How to use it:
Select your image
Open Animations
Go to Time of Day
Choose a look:
Sunset
Twilight
Night
Sunrise
Midday
Afternoon
Preview and adjust if needed
This helps you match the mood of your video or create more variety from the same set of images.
Timelapse
Simulate lighting changes within a single image, like day to night or sunset.
How to use it:
Select your image
Open Animations
Go to Timelapse
Choose an effect (Day to Night, Night to Day, etc.)
Preview and adjust if needed
TIP: Best for exterior images where lighting changes are clearly visible.
Suggested animations ⚡️
Not sure which camera movement to choose for each photo? Amplifiles can now analyze your images and suggest the best fit automatically. For example, an outdoor shot might get a smooth rotate or drone up effect, while an interior kitchen photo might get a push in to highlight details.
Benefits of using suggestions:
Save time by letting the system pick a good starting point
Get a natural mix of motions that make the video flow better
Still keep full control, since you can change suggestions before finalizing
This way you do not need to start from scratch. You can either accept the suggestions as they are or adjust them to your style.
Tips for choosing styles:
Use push in to highlight details (kitchens, bathrooms, decor)
Use push in reverse (basically push out) for big spaces like exteriors or living rooms
Use truck left/right for wide shots such as landscapes or long rooms
Rotate – gentle motion that works well for exterior photos, rooms with symmetry, or when you want subtle variety
Mix styles for variety, but avoid changing every single image - a consistent look feels more professional
Ambient, Timelapse, and Time of the day animation are not supported as suggested animation.
2. Animate images
After selecting your preferred style for each photo, press Animate images to start the process. Each animated image uses 150 credits ($1.50). It takes about 3 minutes for the images to be animated.
Once ready:
The animated versions will appear in the Images tab
The preview screen on the right will update so you can see the movement instantly
3. Re-animating images
Not happy with how a photo looks? You can re-animate it with a new style once for free. If you want to re-animate the same image again, it costs 50 credits.
Select the image, choose a different animation, and press Animate images
The new animation will be created and saved alongside the old one
💡You can switch between versions at any time - so if you prefer the original, it’s still available. Re-animating uses 50 credits ($0.50)
4. Fine-tune animations
After your images are animated, you’ll see extra tools to refine the motion. These tweaks let you polish the motion without starting over:
Add reverse movement
Flip the direction of the animation (push in → push out, rotate left → rotate right)
Crop video
Set the starting focus area, useful if there’s something in the image you don’t want shown.
Cropping is applied per aspect ratio. If you export the video in multiple formats (vertical, horizontal, square), each format needs to be cropped separately.
This allows you to fine-tune the framing so vertical and horizontal versions both look correct.
Change clip duration
By default, each image shows for 2.5 seconds in the video. Each animation is originally a 5-second clip. Amplifiles trims it to 2.5 seconds by default for a smoother flow, but you can make it longer or shorter depending on your video needs. If you want, you can also apply same length to all clips.
You can even change how fast the camera moves inside the clip. Read more about movement speed control.
