Where did my lead go?

Insight into lead quality updates and why a lead may have been removed.

Earlier this year, our CEO Joey Levin, shared the key areas that Angi is focusing on in 2023 (read the full message here). One of the main areas he highlighted is continued lead quality improvements, and keeping spam off our platform. We dedicated a product team to focus on lead quality, and they've already released major changes to cut down on spam leads.

  • As of February 1, we began removing leads identified as spam - these leads are no longer being delivered and the email and text notifications are no longer sent.

  • As of June 8, we began proactively removing any leads submitted within the last 30 days by a user identified as submitting spam.

Where did my lead go?

With this latest improvement, you may find that you received a lead, but it is no longer visible on your Leads tab. This is because the user that submitted the lead was identified as as submitting spam leads. So, any leads submitted by that user within the last 30 days were removed from your account.

When leads are removed, this also opens your account up to receive a new, quality lead. Please note, we are still working to remove the lead from counting in your contacts displayed within the Past Performance section of your account.
