You now have the ability to send an automated message to a consumer as soon as they submit their first lead to your company. By default, this feature is turned off, but it is easy to turn on. You can also create a custom template using your company’s voice to respond to leads instantly.

Angi Pro Ads app:

  1. From the home screen of the app, tap Messages (or Inbox on some devices).

  2. At the top of the screen, tap Automations. On this screen, you can turn on a pre-built template or customize your own message to initiate conversations with new leads.

  3. Don't have enough time to customize? Get started with one of our pre-built templates. Click the drop-down to select one that works for you.

  4. If you prefer, choose Write your own to create your own custom template and craft a personalized message for homeowners from your company. Note: You’ll need to update to app version 24.24.0 or newer on Android or 24.24.1 or newer on iOS in order to have this feature. Only one custom template can exist at a time. If you want to adjust your custom message then you’ll need to select the Write your own option again to replace your current custom message with a new one.

  5. Once you have selected the template you would like to send automatically when you receive a lead from a consumer, tap Save.

  6. To turn on your Automated message, turn the toggle on at the bottom of the screen. When it is on, the toggle will be blue and a small pop up will appear, confirming you've turned them on.

  7. To turn off your Automated message, follow the same steps above and turn the toggle off. When it is off, the toggle will be gray.

Angi for Pros site:

  1. Go to the Angi for Pros site and sign in.

  2. Click on the Messages tab.

  3. Click on the Automations tab within your inbox.

4. You can choose between three prewritten templates by clicking on Change your template. If you would like to create a custom automated message template, choose the Write your own option.

5. Once you have selected the template you would like to send automatically when you receive a lead from a consumer, click Save. Only one custom template can exist at a time. If you want to adjust your custom message then you’ll need to select the Write your own option again to replace your current custom message with a new one.

6. To turn on your Automated message, make sure to click the blue Turn on automation button.

7. To turn off your Automated message, follow the same steps above and turn the toggle off. When it is off, the toggle will be gray.
