New! Improved Tools to Connect with Homeowners

We’ve made improvements to messaging, making it easier for you to connect with potential customers.

We’ve released some exciting changes, specifically designed to simplify your communication with homeowners. These improvements make it easier for you to connect with potential customers and turn more leads into jobs done well.


Automated messages

When you turn on automated messages, we will instantly send your new leads the message you choose to quickly get the conversation started. Keep in mind that messages are only automatically sent on new leads in which the homeowner hasn’t already messaged you.

Follow these steps to turn on the feature:

1. In the Angi Ads app, tap “Messages” in the main navigation menu and then select the “Automations” tab.

2. Next switch on the “Automated message” toggle.

3. To change the template that is sent to the homeowner, select “Change template.” We offer 3 template options that prompt homeowners to schedule a call, share project details, or get their question answered.


Follow-up message if you don’t connect

If you don’t connect with the homeowner after initially calling and they haven’t sent you a message, we prompt you to send a follow-up message right through the Angi Ads app. You can personalize this message with additional details - your edits will be saved and can be used for future outreach.


Messages inbox

You now have a dedicated messages inbox on both the website and in the app to provide easy access to all your messages. Manage your messages between homeowners by viewing new messages and responding back.
