New! Improved Tools to Connect with Homeowners

We’ve made improvements to messaging, making it easier for you to connect with potential customers.

We’ve released some exciting changes, specifically designed to simplify your communication with homeowners. These improvements make it easier for you to connect with potential customers and turn more leads into jobs done well.

When you turn on automated messages, we will instantly send your new leads the message you choose to quickly get the conversation started. Keep in mind that messages are only automatically sent on new leads in which the homeowner hasn’t already messaged you.

Follow these steps to turn on the feature:

Angi Ads Pro app:

1. In the Angi Ads app, tap Messages in the main navigation menu and then select the Automations tab.

2. Next switch on the Automated message toggle.

3. To change the template that is sent to the homeowner, select Change template. We offer 3 template options that prompt homeowners to schedule a call, share project details, or get their question answered. If you prefer, choose Write your own to create your own custom template and craft a personalized message for homeowners from your company. Note: You’ll need to update to app version 24.24.0 or newer on Android or 24.24.1 or newer on iOS in order to have this feature.


Angi for Pros site:

  1. Go to the Angi for Pros site and sign in.

  2. Click on the Messages tab.

  3. Click on the Automations tab within your inbox.

4. You can choose between three prewritten templates by clicking on Change your template. If you would like to create a custom automated message template, log into the Angi Ads Pro app and follow the app instructions above.

5. Once you have selected the template you would like to send automatically when you receive a lead from a consumer, click Save.

6. To turn on your Automated message, make sure to click the blue Turn on automation button.

7. To turn off your Automated message, follow the same steps above and turn the toggle off. When it is off, the toggle will be gray.
