Open SynthaceHub

This article describes how to start and access SynthaceHub.

SynthaceHub is a web application which runs in a web browser. In order to access it, the SynthaceHub process must be running in the background.

Identify that SynthaceHub is running

When the SynthaceHub process is running, a corresponding icon is displayed in the system tray.

Start SynthaceHub

If SynthaceHub is not running, it can be started in the following two ways:

  • From the desktop

  1. On the Desktop, double-click the SynthaceHub icon.

  • From the Start Menu

  1. In the Start menu, open the SynthaceHub folder.

  2. Click SynthaceHub shortcut.

Access SynthaceHub

If SynthaceHub process is running, SynthaceHub can accessed in the following two ways:

  • From the system tray

  1. In the system tray, right-click the SynthaceHub icon.

  2. Click Open SynthaceHub.

  3. SynthaceHub opens in a new tab of a web browser.

  • From a web browser

  1. In any supported web browser, open a new tab.

  2. In the address bar, type localhost:5001, then press Enter

Tip: To open SynthaceHub more quickly in the future, bookmark localhost:5001.

Log in

The first time that you open SynthaceHub, you need to log in.

Click LOG IN.

Type the name of your organisation, then click CONTINUE TO LOG IN.

Note: This button is only enabled if you type the name of your organisation correctly.

After you log in, you remain logged in until you log out manually or restart SynthaceHub.
