Since ANVL can be used as a native app and a web app (PWA), you may need to clear the cache in two different ways depending on how you access it.

NOTICE: If these steps are completed OFFLINE it will clear your workflow data that has yet to upload.

1. Clear Cache for the ANVL Mobile App

For the dedicated mobile app installed from the App Store, you must use the Offload function as iOS does not allow direct cache clearing for most apps.

  1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap General, then tap iPhone Storage.

  3. Wait for the list of apps to load, then scroll down and tap on the ANVL app.

  4. Tap Offload App. This will uninstall the app but keep your personal documents and settings safe.

  5. Tap Offload App again to confirm.

  6. Tap Reinstall App to download a fresh, clean copy. This process will clear out the large cache files while preserving your user data.

2. Clear Cache for the ANVL workflows.anvl.com

If you use workflows.anvl.com the cache is tied to your Safari browsing data.

  1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Scroll down and tap Safari.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom and tap Advanced.

  4. Tap Website Data.

  5. You can either:

    • Tap Remove All Website Data at the bottom to clear the cache for all websites (including workflows.anvl.com).

    • Search for "ANVL" and swipe left on the entry, then tap Delete to clear the cache for only workflows.anvl.com.

Note: If you are accessing the ANVL through Chrome or another browser, you will need to follow the steps to clear that specific browser's cache instead.
