Answer
If you are experiencing login, syncing, or performance issues on iPhone or iPad, clearing cached ANVL data may help. Because ANVL on iOS relies on both the installed app and browser-based authentication, you may need to clear data in both places.
Important: If these steps are completed while offline, any workflow data that has not yet uploaded will be permanently removed.
If you use the ANVL mobile app on iPhone or iPad, clear both the ANVL app cache and the browser website data on the device. If you only use workflows.anvl.com in a browser, clear the browser website data only.
Steps
Complete both sections below if using the ANVL mobile app. Complete only Step 2 if you use ANVL Workflows in a web browser only.
1. Clear the ANVL App Data
Open Settings.
Go to General → iPhone Storage or iPad Storage.
Select ANVL.
Tap Offload App.
Confirm Offload App.
Tap Reinstall App.
2. Clear Browser Website Data
If you use Safari:
Open Settings.
Go to Safari → Advanced → Website Data.
Remove website data for ANVL or clear all website data.
If you use Chrome or another browser:
Open that browser’s Settings.
Clear cache or website data for ANVL-related sign-in pages.
Additional Details
iOS does not provide a direct cache-clearing option for most apps, so Offload App is used instead.
If you use the ANVL mobile app, clearing only the app may not fully resolve login issues.
Always make sure workflows are fully synced before clearing cache or data.
Clearing browser data may sign you out of other websites.
Offloading the app does not delete your ANVL account or server-stored data.
