Answer
Use Bulk Inactivate Users in the ANVL Admin Portal when you need to remove ANVL access for multiple users at once. Bulk inactivation applies immediately to live accounts.
This action cannot be undone in bulk. If access is needed again later, each user must be reactivated individually.
Bulk inactivation will fail if any selected users are still classified as Supervisors.
Steps
Open ANVL Insights.
Select Welcome, [Your Name].
Select Admin Portal.
In the Admin Portal, open User Management.
Use search or filters to locate the users you want to inactivate.
Select the checkbox next to each user.
Select Inactivate Users.
Wait for the updates to process. You will see a small pop-up for each user in the corner.
Wait until the pop-ups stop.
Review the Successful Submissions table to confirm the updates succeeded.
Review the Failed Submissions table for any errors.
Select Refresh or refresh the browser page.
Confirm the Status for each user is now INACTIVE.
When bulk inactivation will fail
Bulk inactivation cannot proceed if one or more selected users are still classified as Supervisors.
If you receive the error:
one_or_more_users_are_supervisors
remove the user’s Supervisor status first, then retry the bulk inactivation.
Helpful tip: Sort by the Updated At column to find the most recently updated users more easily.
Important notes
Bulk inactivation is a live action and takes effect immediately.
This action cannot be reversed in bulk.
Always review both Successful Submissions and Failed Submissions before leaving the page.
If any selected user is still a Supervisor, the bulk action will fail for that selection.
