How do I Inactivate a User in ANVL Insights?

Learn how to inactivate a user account in ANVL Manager when someone no longer needs system access.

Inactivate a user account to immediately remove their access to ANVL while retaining all historical submissions and reporting data. You must be a Site-Level Admin with access to the Users tab. The user account must already exist.


Answer

Site-Level Admins can inactivate users from the Users tab in ANVL Manager. The account becomes inactive immediately, and the user can no longer log in.


Steps

  1. Log in to ANVL Insights at https://insights.anvl.com.

  2. Go to the Users tab.

  3. Use the search bar to locate the user(s).

  4. Select the checkbox to the left of each user’s name.

  5. Click Modify → Inactivate User.

  6. Select Agree to confirm.

Result:

The user’s name will appear light gray, indicating the account is inactive.
