Remove Supervisor status from a user when they no longer need to act as a supervisor or when you need to inactivate their account. In ANVL Insights, a user is treated as a supervisor when they have both ANVL Insights access and a phone number on their profile.
Steps
Open the user profile
Open ANVL Insights.
Go to Users.
Search for the user.
Select the checkbox next to the user’s name.
Select Modify > Modify User.
Remove Supervisor criteria
Remove ANVL Insights access from the user profile.
Select Update to save the change.
Inactivate the user if needed

When to Do This
Remove Supervisor status when:
You are attempting to inactivate a user
You see a message such as “Error: One or more users are supervisors” during inactivation
A user no longer needs to act as a Supervisor and should not appear in:
Supervisor selection lists
Supervisor-related reporting
This action is commonly required during offboarding or role changes.

Additional Details
A user is classified as a supervisor when they have both a phone number and ANVL Insights access.
Users with supervisor status cannot be inactivated until that status is removed.
Before inactivating the user, update any people who currently have that person assigned as their supervisor.
Removing supervisor status also removes the user from supervisor-related selections and reporting.
