How do I request custom analytics and reporting support?

ANVL includes standard Power BI template reports that meet most reporting needs. However, if you need additional or specialized analytics, custom reporting options are available.

Answer

ANVL includes standard Power BI template reports that meet many common reporting needs. If those reports do not answer the business questions you need, you can request custom analytics or use the ANVL REST API to build your own reporting.

Custom analytics usually make sense when you need:

  • new visuals not included in the standard reports

  • reporting on business-specific metrics

  • different ways to analyze existing ANVL data

  • specialized analysis such as photo review, advanced trends, or combined reporting across systems

A good request clearly explains what you want to see, which data points matter, and what business question you are trying to answer.

Steps

  1. Review the standard ANVL Power BI reports first to confirm the needed insight is not already available.

  2. Identify the exact reporting need.

  3. Define:

    • what you want to see

    • which metrics or data points matter

    • what business question you are trying to answer

    • any example visuals or sample outputs you want

  4. Open the ANVL Help Center.

  5. Submit a support request, or contact your Benchmark Gensuite Account Manager.

  6. Include as much detail as possible in the request so the need can be evaluated quickly.

  7. Wait for the request to be reviewed and scoped.

If your organization has its own analytics team:
8. Consider using the ANVL REST API instead.
9. Use the API to pull ANVL data into your own reporting environment.
10. Build custom Power BI or other BI dashboards as needed.
11. Combine ANVL data with other systems if broader reporting is required.

Important notes:

  • Standard ANVL reports usually cover many common reporting needs.

  • Custom analytics may be handled as a separate project depending on scope, complexity, and commercial alignment.

  • The ANVL REST API is often the fastest option when your organization already has internal reporting resources.

  • API-based reporting is especially useful when you want to merge ANVL data with other business systems.
