Answer

When an Approval question is assigned to you, review the workflow responses completed by previous collaborators and record your approval decision.

Select Approved if the workflow meets your organization's requirements and work can continue. Select Not Approved if additional work or corrections are required before the workflow can proceed.

If your organization requires approval comments, explain what must be corrected before submitting your decision.

Steps

  1. Open the assigned Collaborative Workflow from:

    • The Frontline Operations mobile app, or

    • The link in your email or text notification.

  2. Review the workflow responses completed by previous collaborators, including:

    • Hazard details and controls.

    • Comments and notes.

    • Photos, videos, and signatures.

    • Answered By information and timestamps.

  3. Navigate to the Approval question.

  4. Select:

    • Approved if the workflow meets requirements and work can continue.

    • Not Approved if additional work or corrections are required.

  5. If prompted, enter comments explaining your decision or describing what must be corrected.

  6. Submit your approval decision.

Additional Details

  • Review the full workflow context before making your decision.

  • Approval decisions become part of the workflow's permanent audit trail.

  • If the workflow is Not Approved, provide clear comments so collaborators understand what must be corrected before work can continue.

  • After you submit your decision, collaborators who participated in the workflow are notified of the approval outcome.
