Answer

After an approval decision is submitted, all collaborators who participated in the Collaborative Workflow are notified by email and text. The workflow status is updated and the approval decision becomes part of the workflow record.

If the workflow is Approved, work can continue according to your organization's process. If the workflow is Not Approved, review the approver's comments, address any required corrections, and follow your organization's process before continuing work.

Steps

If the workflow is Approved

  1. Review the approval decision, if needed.

  2. Continue work according to your organization's process.

  3. The workflow status is updated to Approved and is visible to collaborators and managers.

If the workflow is Not Approved

  1. Review the approver's comments to understand what needs to be corrected.

  2. Complete any required corrective actions according to your organization's process.

  3. Resubmit or continue the workflow, if applicable.

  4. The workflow status is updated to Not Approved and is visible to collaborators and managers.

Additional Details

  • All collaborators who participated in the workflow receive a notification when an approval decision is recorded.

  • Approval decisions become part of the workflow's permanent audit trail.

  • Managers can review approval decisions and workflow status in Live Feed.

  • Depending on how the workflow was configured, an approval decision may complete the workflow or allow it to continue to the next step.
