In Anvl for Web, supervisors can review account information for all users. This includes username, email, phone number, and notification settings.

To Inactivate a user

  1. Go to the Users tab in Insights

  2. Search for a user’s name using the search bar and select the checkbox to the left of their name.

  3. Click the Modify button and select Inactivate User

  4. Select "Agree" to Inactivate (name will turn light gray)

Getting an “Error: One or more users are supervisors.” Message?

Some users cannot be inactivated right away.

If a user has a phone number and ANVL Web (Insights) access, ANVL classifies them as a Supervisor.

To proceed, update their profile first.

Step 1 — Open the user profile

  1. Go to Users in Insights.

  2. Search for the user.

  3. Check the box to the left of their name.

  4. Click ModifyModify User.

Step 2 — Remove the Supervisor criteria

You must remove either:

  • The phone number, OR

  • The Web Access (Insights) toggle.

Important: Select "Update" in the top right corner to save the changes.

Step 3 — Inactivate the user

  1. Return to the Users tab.

  2. Select the user again.

  3. Click ModifyInactivate User.

  4. Select Agree.

The user’s name will appear in light gray once inactivated.
