Use Modify User in ANVL Insights to move someone from one Group to another when they change locations, departments, or responsibilities. Update the user’s Group assignments by adding the new Group and removing the old one.
The user will now be automatically logged out after this change so their access updates can take effect.
Steps
Open ANVL Insights.
Go to Users.
Search for the user you want to update.
Select the checkbox next to the user’s name.
Select Modify > Modify User.
In the Group section, add the new Group and remove the old one.
Select Update to save your changes.
Additional Details
If you do not see the Group you need, contact your System Manager or another internal administrator with access to that Group.
After the change is saved, the user is automatically logged out so the updated Group access can refresh.
