How do I mark up photos in a workflow?

Adding photos to a workflow is one of the most effective ways to document hazards, compliance observations, or improvement opportunities. You can use the built-in annotation tool to draw directly on a photo and highlight specific areas of concern.

Answer

You can annotate a photo in a workflow to highlight a hazard, condition, or specific area of concern before saving it.

After taking or uploading a photo in a workflow, select the annotate tool to draw on the image, then save it to the workflow.

Steps

  1. In the workflow, take a photo or upload one if that option is available.

  2. Select Use Photo.

  3. Tap the pencil icon to open the annotation tool.

  4. Draw on the image as needed.

  5. Tap the blue checkmark to save the photo to the workflow.

Additional Details

  • You can use the annotation tools to draw, erase, restore, or clear markings.

  • You must tap the blue checkmark to save the photo, even if you do not add annotations.

  • Some workflow questions allow upload from the device gallery, while others only allow live camera capture. This is controlled by your organization’s workflow configuration.

  • Annotated images become part of the workflow record.
