Why can’t I share my workflow from Outlook on iPhone?

There is a known issue within the Microsoft Outlook iOS app that can intermittently cause errors when sharing workflow PDFs from ANVL. Adjusting the app’s display settings resolves the issue in most cases.

Answer

Change the Outlook app theme settings to Light mode to resolve the sharing error.


Steps

  1. Open the Outlook app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap your Profile icon.

  3. Tap the Settings icon near the bottom of the screen.

  4. Select General.

  5. Tap Display & Appearance.

  6. Set:

    • Theme to Light

    • Icon to Dark

  7. Tap Save.

After updating these settings, return to ANVL and attempt to share the workflow again.


Additional Details

  • This is a known Microsoft Outlook iOS issue.

  • The issue occurs intermittently depending on theme configuration.

  • If the problem persists, ensure both Outlook and iOS are updated to the latest version.

  • As a workaround, you may also use the iOS Mail app to share the workflow.
